4 - 27 June 2015

Opening: Thursday 4 June, 6pm

Interferences is the first exhibition to launch in the Belfast Exposed Futures gallery, a new space dedicated to new talent from Northern Ireland.

Over the past two years Alberto Maserin has documented the legacy of a U.S. military base that was established in 1955 during the Cold War in Aviano. The base is still active and for sixty years the values and ideological norms of American culture have interacted with Italian society. The artist examines how the base has infiltrated the culture and physical structure of the town as well as the imaginations of those living in the surrounding area.

Venue: Belfast Exposed

Opening Times: Tue - Sat, 11am - 5pm (Free entry)
